And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve wide, square in the four corners.

The posts of the temple were square, and also the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one like the appearance of the other.

Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in width, square all around; and fifty cubits round about for its open space.

All the district shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: you shall set apart the holy district as a square, with the possession of the city.

And these shall be its measurements; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

As for the likeness of their faces, the four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and the four had the face of an ox on the left side; the four also had the face of an eagle.

And each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.

And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and the four had their faces and their wings.

Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, on which they slew their sacrifices.

So the altar hearth shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and extending upward shall be four horns.

And you shall take some of its blood, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the rim around it: thus shall you cleanse and purge it.

In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty wide: these four corners were of the same measure.
