And Moses said to Yahweh, "Then the Egyptians will hear that you brought up this people from their midst in your power,

our ancestors went down to Egypt, and we lived in Egypt {a long time}, and the Egyptians mistreated us and our ancestors.

They set out from Rameses on the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover the {Israelites} went out {boldly} {in the sight} of all the Egyptians

while the Egyptians [were] burying all the firstborn among them whom Yahweh struck. Yahweh [also] executed punishments among their gods.
