As He was walking along the shore of the sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets in the sea, for they were fishermen.

As soon as they left the synagogue, they went home with Simon and Andrew, in company with James and John.

And Simon's mother-in-law was confined to her bed with a fever. So they at once told Him about her.

And Simon and his companions diligently searched for Him

The Twelve whom He appointed were: Peter, the name which He gave to Simon,

They forced a certain passer-by, who was coming in from the country, to carry His cross -- Simon, a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus.
