And a certain young man [Note: Some think this is a reference to Mark himself], who had a linen outer garment thrown over his scantily clad body, was following Jesus until they [i.e., the soldiers and officers] took hold of him. and thou shalt love the Lord thy God out of all thy heart, and out of thy soul, and out of all thine understanding, and out of all thy strength -- this is the first command;

and to love Him out of all the heart, and out of all the understanding, and out of all the soul, and out of all the strength, and to love one's neighbour as one's self, is more than all the whole burnt-offerings and the sacrifices.'

The woman was a Greek out of Syrophoenicia, and she besought him that he would cast out the devil out of her daughter.

And looking round on them he was angry, being sad because of their hard hearts; and he said to the man, Put out your hand. And he put it out, and his hand was made well.

And after crying out and shaking him violently, it came out: and the child became like one dead; so that most of them said, He is dead.

And they came to Jericho: and when he was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great number of people, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind man, was seated by the wayside, with his hand out for money.

And he gave them teaching in the form of stories. A man had a vine-garden planted, and put a wall about it, and made a place for crushing out the wine, and put up a tower, and let it out to field-workers, and went into another country.

Because they all put in something out of what they had no need for; but she out of her need put in all she had, even all her living.

And [after] convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, the unclean spirit came out of him.

And he said to them, "Take care what you hear! With the measure by which you measure out, it will be measured out to you, and will be added to you.

And his relatives having heard of it went out to lay hold on him, for they said, He is out of his mind.

And immediately on his going out of the ship there met him out of the tombs a man possessed by an unclean spirit,

because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly: and goeth out into the draught that purgeth out all meats."
