And when it was day, he called his disciples to himself; and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles:

and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their means.

So he told a parable to those who were invited, when he noted how they chose the places of honor, saying to them:
