Howbeit, his mother answered, and said, "Not so, but he shall be called John."

His parents were in the habit of going to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.

So He came to Nazareth where He had been brought up, and as His habit was on the Sabbath, He went to the synagogue and stood up to read.
