And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them and brought thee out with his presence and with his mighty power of Egypt:

It was not because of the multitude of you, above all nations, that the LORD had lust unto you and chose you: For ye were fewest of all nations.

only the LORD had a lust unto thy fathers to love them, and therefore chose you their seed after them of all nations, as it is come to pass this day.
