I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,

Why demandest thou of me? Demand of those who have heard, what I have spoken to them; behold, they know what I have said.

which figure also now saves you, even baptism, not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the demand as before God of a good conscience, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
