And it came to pass, that when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

and was forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days ate he nothing: And when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

And as soon as the devil had ended all his temptations, he departed from him for a season.

When he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

Notwithstanding, I must be baptised with a baptism. And how am I pained till it be ended?

No doubt the same that he sayeth, "yet once more," signifieth the removing away of those things which are shaken, as of things which have ended their course: that the things which are not shaken may remain.
