But Peter sat without in the palace-court; and a maid came to him, saying, And thou wast with Jesus the Galilaean.

And when he had gone out into the entrance, another maid saw him, and says to those there, This man also was with Jesus the Nazaraean.

And the maid, seeing him, again began to say to those that stood by, This is one of them.

And a certain maid, having seen him sitting by the light, and having fixed her eyes upon him, said, And this man was with him.

The maid therefore, who was porteress, says to Peter, Art thou also of the disciples of this man? He says, I am not.

And when he had knocked at the door of the entry, a maid came to listen, by name Rhoda;

For it is written that Abraham had two sons; one of the maid servant, and one of the free woman.

But he that was of the maid servant was born according to flesh, and he that was of the free woman through the promise.

But what says the scripture? Cast out the maid servant and her son; for the son of the maid servant shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.

So then, brethren, we are not maid servant's children, but children of the free woman.
