This man used to be set down every day at the gate of the Temple called 'the Beautiful Gate,' to beg of those who went in.

He it is whose Coming was attested by means of Water and Blood--Jesus Christ himself; not by Water only, but by Water and by Blood. And there is the Spirit also to bear testimony, and the Spirit is Truth itself.

"Give me this water, Sir," said the woman, "so that I may not be thirsty, nor have to come all the way here to draw water."

For they wilfully shut their eyes to the fact that long ago the heavens existed; and the earth, also--formed out of water and by the action of water, by the fiat of God;
