"You obtained this for yourself [because of] your way and your deeds. This [is] your doom, for [it is] bitter, yes, it has reached up to your heart."

Doom is coming against you, the dweller of the land; the time comes, the day [is] near, panic and not joy [is] on the mountains.

Look! The day is coming; doom goes out, the staff blossoms, pride sprouts.

Thus says Yahweh my God: "Shepherd the flock [doomed] to slaughter.

And I shepherded the flock [doomed] to slaughter, even the afflicted of the flock. I took two staffs, one I called Kindness, and the other I called Unity, and I shepherded the flock.

For there [was no one] in all the house of my father {who were not doomed to death} before my lord the king, but you set your servant among those who eat at your table. Do I have any righteousness any longer except to cry out to the king?"
