then calling two of his centurions, draw out, said he, two hundred foot, seventy horse, and two hundred archers, ready to march to Cesarea by the third hour of the night:

After this the Lord nominated seventy disciples more, and sent them before by two and two, into all the cities, and towns, where he himself design'd to go.

the whole number then on board being two hundred and seventy six.

Jesus answered, I tell thee not only seven: but seventy times seven.

At length the seventy return'd with great joy, saying, Lord, even the demons have been made subject to us by virtue of your name.

he also that had received two talents, came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents: here are two other talents which I have gain'd besides them.
