So he moved into the house of a pagan named Titus Justus, who worshiped the true God; his house was next to the synagogue.

I had no rest of spirit, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said goodbye to them and left for Macedonia.

But God, who comforts the downhearted, comforted me by the coming of Titus,

In addition to my own comfort, I was made so glad that my cup ran over at the gladness Titus felt, because his spirit has been set at rest by you.

I actually begged Titus to go, and sent the well-known brother with him. Titus did not make any money out of you, did he? Did not he and I act in the same spirit, and take the very same steps?

Then, fourteen years later, I again went up to Jerusalem, with Barnabas, and took Titus with me too.

But they did not even try to compel my companion, Titus, although he was a Greek, to be circumcised --

for Demas has forsaken me because he loved the present world, and has gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia;

to Titus, my genuine child in our common faith: be spiritual blessing and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.
