Jesus answered, and said to him, "If any one loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him. He who loves Me not, keeps not My words; and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's Who sent Me. "These things have I spoken to you, while abiding with you. read more.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all things that I told you. "Peace I leave for you; My own peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled; neither let it be fearful. Ye heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I come to you.' If ye loved Me, ye would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; because the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it comes to pass; that, when it comes to pass, ye may believe. I will no more speak much with you; for the Prince of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;

Now we request you, brethren, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to Him, that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, as that the day of the Lord has set in. Let no one deceive you in any manner; because that day will not come, unless the falling away come first, and the man of lawlessness be revealed??he son of perdition; read more.
he that opposes himself against, and exalts himself above, all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits in the temple of God, exhibiting himself as God. Do ye not remember that, when I was yet with you, I was wont to tell you these things? And now ye know what hinders his being revealed in his own season; for the mystery of lawlessness is already working: only He Who hindereth will hinder, until He is taken out of the midst. And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth, and will bring to nought by the manifestation of His presence; him whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and lying wonders, and in all deceit of unrighteousness to those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And, for this cause, God sendeth them a working of delusion, that they may believe the lie; that they all may be judged, who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Little children, it is the last hour; and, as ye heard that Anti-Christ is coming, even now many anti-christs have arisen; whence we know that it is the last hour. They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, that they might be made manifest, that they are not all of us.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. In this ye know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ hath come in flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesses not Jesus is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Anti-Christ, of which ye have heard that it is coming, and now it is in the world already.

Who is the liar, but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Anti-Christ, he that denies the Father and the Son.

Because many deceivers went out into the world, who confess not Jesus Christ as coming in flesh. This is the deceiver and the Anti-Christ.

Yet, however, even from among the rulers, many believed on Him; but, because of the Pharisees, they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory of men, rather than the glory of God.

"Not every one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by Thy name? and by Thy name cast out demons, and by Thy name do many mighty works,'" And then will I confess to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, ye who work iniquity.

"Every one, therefore, who shall confess Me before men, him will I also confess before My Father Who is in Heaven. But whosoever denies Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father Who is in Heaven.

John testifies concerning Him, and has cried, saying, "This was He of Whom I said, 'He That cometh after me hath become before me, because He was before me;'" because out of His fulness we all received, and grace for grace: because the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. read more.
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Who is in the bosom of the Father, He declared Him.

These things said his parents, because they were fearing the Jews; for the Jews had agreed already, that, if any one should confess Him to be Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. On this account, his parents said, "He is of age; ask him." Therefore, they called a second time the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give glory to God: we know that this Man is a sinner." read more.
He, therefore, answered, "Whether He is a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that, though I was blind, now I see." They said, therefore, to him, "What did He do to you? how did He open your eyes?" He answered them, "I told you already, and ye did not hear; why do ye wish to hear it again? Do ye also wish to become His disciples?" And they reviled him, and said, "You are His disciple; but we are disciples of Moses. We know that God hath spoken to Moses; but, as to this Man, we know not whence He is." The man answered and said to them, "Why, in this is the wonder, that ye do not know whence He is, and He opened my eyes. We know that God heareth not sinners; but, if any one is a worshiper of God, and does His will, him He heareth. From remotest antiquity, it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of one born blind! If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing." They answered and said to him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us!" And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they cast him out; and, finding him, He said, "Do you believe on the Son of God?" And He answered, and said, "And Who is He, Lord, that I may believe on Him?" Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him, and it is He Who is talking with you." And he said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped Him.

And Philip, opening his mouth, and, beginning from this Scripture, proclaimed to him the good news of Jesus. And, as they were journeying along the way, they came to a certain water; and the eunuch says, "Behold, here is water; what hinders me from being immersed?" [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]

And, when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was being constrained by the word, fully testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

And Paul said, "John immersed with an immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him coming after him; that is, on Jesus." And, having heard this, they were immersed into the name of the Lord Jesus;

that if you shall confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whosoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He Who is in you, than he that is in the world. And this is the message which we have heard from Him, and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and are walking in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth;

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, ye would love Me; for I came forth, and have come from, God; for neither have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do ye not understand My speech? it is because ye cannot hear My word. Ye are of your father the Devil; and the desires of your father ye wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own; because he is a liar, and the father of it.

My little children, these things I write to you, that ye may not sin. And, if any one sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous. And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. And in this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. read more.
He who says, "I have known Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

Jesus, therefore, answered them, and said, "My teaching is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any one wills to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself. He that speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He Who seeketh the glory of Him Who sent Him the Same is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

But whosoever possesses the goods of the world, and beholds his brother having need, and shuts up his compassion from him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and in truth. Hereby we shall know that we are of the truth, and we shall assure our heart before Him; read more.

I write to you, fathers, because ye have known Him Who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have conquered the evil one. I wrote to you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I wrote to you, fathers, because ye have known Him Who is from the beginning.
