But when it pleased God, (who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,) to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach Him among the gentiles; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,

However, as God hath distributed to every man, and as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk: and thus I order in all the churches. Is any one called that is circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised: is any one called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised: for circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God. read more.
In the calling in which every one was called, let him continue. Wast thou called being a slave, be not anxious about it; but if thou canst be made free, prefer it.

And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly: and grant that your whole frame, spirit, soul, and body may be kept blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God, and of our saviour Jesus Christ: grace and peace be multiplied unto you, in the acknowledgement of God, and of Jesus our Lord; as his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who hath called us by that glory and virtue,

After these things the Lord appointed also seventy others, and sent them two and two before Him, into every city and place, whither He himself was about to come. And He said unto them, The harvest indeed is great, but the laborers are few: pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that He would send out workmen to his harvest. Go your ways: behold I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves. read more.
Carry neither purse, nor bag, nor shoes; and salute no one by the way. But whatever house ye come into, first say, Peace be to this house: and if there be a child of peace there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall return upon yourselves. But remain in the same house, eating and drinking such as they have; for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you; and heal those in it that are sick, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come unto you. But into whatever city ye come, and they receive you not, go out into the streets of it and say, even the dust that cleaveth to us out of your city we wipe off against you: but know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. And I tell you, it shall be more tolerable in that day even for Sodom than for that city. Wo unto thee, Chorazin, wo unto thee, Bethsaida, for if the miracles wrought among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgement than for you. And thou Capernaum, which art exalted even to heaven, shalt be cast down to hell. ---He, that heareth you, heareth me; and he, that rejecteth you, rejecteth me; and he, that rejecteth me, rejecteth Him that sent me.

I speak after the manner of men, because of the infirmity of your flesh: as ye have yielded your bodies servants to impurity and iniquity to work iniquity; so now present your bodies servants to righteousness, unto holiness. Then Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I have told you, so that ye have seen me, and yet ye do not believe. All that the Father giveth me, will come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will not cast out. read more.
For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that of all that He hath given me, I should lose none, but should raise them up at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one who looketh attentively at the Son, and so believeth on Him, may have eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Be subject therefore to every human form of government, for the Lord's sake: whether it be to a king as supreme; or to governors as persons sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers, and the praise of them that do well.
