Thematic Bible
Christian conduct » Blessedness of maintaining
Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the rights of the LORD are true, they are all just. More to be desired are they than gold, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy slave warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.
Whosoever sacrifices praise glorifies me; and to him that orders his ways aright I will show the salvation of God.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. read more.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in the heavens; for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
