What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who shall be against us? He that did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also give us all things with him? Who shall accuse the chosen of God's? God is he that justifies them.

And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and, behold, he keeps the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send for him, for we will not sit down to the table until he comes here. And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and of a beautiful countenance and handsome. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him, for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him from among his brethren; and the Spirit of the LORD prospered David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God gives thee, and shalt put it in a basket and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to cause his name to dwell.
