There was a garden near the place where Jesus had been crucified, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid. Here, because of its being Preparation Day, and as the tomb was near by, they placed Jesus.

"Why was it," said Peter, "that you both agreed to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Lo, the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door, and they shall carry you out."
