If thou shalt see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.



See that none render evil for evil to any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.





The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth my hand against the LORD'S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.

And he said to David, thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded thee with evil.





And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldst thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.



And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.


Moreover, he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.

So Abraham prayed to God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maid-servants, and they bore children. For the LORD had made barren all the females of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah, Abraham's wife.


They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom. I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.


And he said to David, thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded thee with evil.
