God, who at different times and in different ways spoke of old to the fathers by the prophets, hath at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds,

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him; and without him was nothing made that hath been made. read more.
In him is life; and the life was the light of men. And the light hath been shining in the darkness; and the darkness received it not. There was a man, sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness of the light, that through him all might believe. He was not the light, but came to bear witness of the light. The true light, which enlighteneth every man, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world knew him not.

For while passing along and observing your objects of worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, "To an unknown God." What therefore ye, without knowledge of it, worship, that do I make known to you. The God who made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; nor doth he receive service at the hands of men, as though he needed anything, since it is he that giveth to all life and breath and all things.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all impiety and unrighteousness of men, who keep down the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest within them; for God made it manifest to them. For, ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes, even his eternal power and divinity, being perceived from his works, are clearly seen, so that they might be without excuse.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were a flame of fire, and on his head were many diadems; and he had names written, and a name written which no one knoweth but he himself; and he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called, The Word of God. read more.
And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he may smite the nations; and he will rule them with a rod of iron; and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God Almighty.
