But forget not, beloved, this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

as also he saith in another place, "Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek."
but he, because he abideth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood; wherefore he is able also to save to the utmost those who come to God through him, since he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand on me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last, and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who by his everlasting spirit offered himself without spot to God, purify your conscience from dead works, for the worship of the living God!
