I give them eternal life. They will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.
Hear the word of Jehovah, O nations. Declare in the coastlands afar off. Say: He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.
The Lord Jehovah says: 'I am against the shepherds! I will demand my sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore. I will deliver my flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.'
Jehovah their God will save them in that day like the flock of his people. They will be like the stones in a crown lifted high over his land.
Comfort » The lord comforting
In that day you will say: I will praise you, O Jehovah. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

Get out of Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Shout for joy as you tell it and announce it. Shout it out to the ends of the earth. Say: Jehovah has reclaimed his servant Jacob.
You are a holy people to Jehovah your God. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be his own special people out of all the nations of the earth. Jehovah set his heart on you. He chose you, even though you did not outnumber all the other people. You were the smallest of all nations. You were chosen because Jehovah loved you and kept the oath he swore to your fathers. So he used his mighty hand to bring you out. He freed you from slavery under Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Put to death any interpreters of dreams or prophets that tell you to rebel against Jehovah. For he (Jehovah) rescued you from Egypt, where you were slaves. Such people are evil and are trying to lead you away from the life that Jehovah has commanded you to live. They must be put to death, in order to get rid of this evil.
Jehovah created Jacob and formed Israel. Jehovah says: Do not be afraid for I have reclaimed you. I have called you by my name. You are mine.
Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel. He has visited his people and brought them redemption. (Psalm 72:18)
I prayed to Jehovah and said: 'O Jehovah our God, do not destroy your people for they are your inheritance. You have redeemed them through your greatness. You brought them out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
Do not pervert the justice due an alien or an orphan. Do not take a widow's garment in pledge. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and that Jehovah your God redeemed you from there. I therefore command you to do this.

Truth is missing. Those who turn away from evil become victims. Jehovah sees it, and what he saw displeased him because there is no justice. He sees that there is no one to help. He is astounded that there is no one to intercede. So he saves him with his own power. His righteousness supports him. He puts on righteousness like a coat of armor and a helmet of salvation on his head. He wears clothes of vengeance. He wraps himself with zeal as a coat. read more.

I will acknowledge Jehovah's acts of loving-kindness, and sing the praises of Jehovah, because of everything that Jehovah has done for us. He has done many good things for the nation of Israel because of his compassion and the abundance of his loving-kindness. He said: They are my people, sons who will not lie to me. So he became their Savior. In all their difficulty he was concerned, and he was the messenger who saved them. In his love and compassion he reclaimed (redeemed) them. He always held them and carried them in the past.

As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for my sheep and will deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel. The younger one said to him, Father I want my share of the property. He divided his property between his two sons. In a short time the younger son sold his share of the property. He went to work for a citizen of that country who sent him to his farm to take care of the pigs. He wanted to eat the Carob bean pods the pigs ate, but no one gave him anything to eat. Finally it dawned on him, my father's hired workers have more than they can eat and I am about to starve! I will go to my father and say: 'Father I have sinned against God and against you. I am not fit to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired workers.' He went to his father. He was a long way from home when his father saw him. His heart filled with pity. Jesus said to him: Salvation has come to this house today. He is also a son of Abraham. The Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Shepherd » One who cares for flocks of sheep

Jehovah said: As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so the children of Israel will be rescued. They sit in Samaria on the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.
Shepherds in the same country were in the field keeping watch by night over their flock.
I have been with you now for twenty years. Your sheep and your goats have not failed to reproduce. I have not even eaten any rams from your flocks. I always absorbed the loss when wild animals killed a sheep. I did not take it to you to show that it was not my fault. You demanded that I make good anything that was stolen during the day or during the night. Many times I suffered from the heat during the day and from the cold at night. I was not able to sleep.
He led his own people out like sheep and guided them like a flock through the wilderness. He led them safely. They had no fear while the sea covered their enemies.

His bow stayed steady! His arms remained limber because of the help of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
The Lamb who is in the middle of the throne will feed them and lead them to living fountains of water. God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

See the Sovereign Lord Jehovah comes with power. His arm (power) rules for him. See, his reward is with him and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart. He gently leads those that have young.

You fat sheep push the skinny sheep with your sides and shoulders. You knock down all the sick sheep with your horns. You have scattered them all over. So I will rescue my sheep, and they will no longer be prey. I will judge between one sheep and another. I will place one shepherd over them, my servant David. He will take care of them. No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down voluntarily. I have authority (jurisdiction) (right) to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment from my Father.

For this you were called because Christ also suffered for you. He left you an example (a copy for imitation) (a model) that you should follow in his steps.
