There will be a highway there, called: The Road of Holiness. No sinner will ever travel that road. No fools will mislead those who follow it.

He that says he lives in union with him should walk as he walked.

Put to death any interpreters of dreams or prophets that tell you to rebel against Jehovah. For he (Jehovah) rescued you from Egypt, where you were slaves. Such people are evil and are trying to lead you away from the life that Jehovah has commanded you to live. They must be put to death, in order to get rid of this evil.

Jehovah will establish you as a holy people to himself. He swore this to you, if you obey the commandments of Jehovah your God and walk in His ways.

Be sure you obey the Law that Moses commanded you. Love Jehovah your God. Do his will. Obey his commandments and be faithful to him. Serve him with all your heart and with all your being (Nephesh: living being).

But He knows the way I walk. He has tried me. I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to his path. I have kept his way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the command of his lips. I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of the scornful mockers. But his delight is in the law of Jehovah (YHWH), and on his law he meditates (ponders) (speaks softly with deep thought) (studies) (contemplates) day and night.

God's way is perfect! The word of Jehovah has proven to be true. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

This is what Jehovah your Defender (Redeemer), the Holy One of Israel, says: I am Jehovah your God. I teach you what is best for you. I lead you where you should go.

As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah by no longer praying for you. Instead, I will teach you what is good and right for you to do.

When you hold back the rain because your people have sinned against you. And when they repent in this Temple, humbly praying to you, listen to them in heaven. Forgive the sins of the king and of the people of Israel, and teach them to do what is right. Then, O Jehovah, send rain on this land of yours, which you gave to your people as a permanent possession.

When the sky is shut and there is no rain because they are sinning against you and they pray toward this place, praise your name, and turn away from their sin because you made them suffer, then hear them in heaven. Forgive the sins of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the proper way to live. Then send rain on the land, which you gave to your people as an inheritance.

Jehovah is good and decent. That is why he teaches sinners the way they should live. He leads humble people to do what is right, and he teaches them his way.

Teach me your way, O Jehovah, so that I may live in your truth. Unite my heart to reverence you.

I have chosen the faithful way! I have placed your ordinances before me.

For the commandment is a lamp. The law is light. Reproofs for instruction are the way of life.

Then many people will come and say: Let us go to the mountain of Jehovah, to the House of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may live by them. The law will go out from Zion. The word of Jehovah will go out from Jerusalem.

You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. It is pleasant to be at your right hand forever.

We are all like sheep. We have gone astray! Each of us has turned to his own way. Jehovah has caused the iniquity (sin) of all of us to be laid on him.

They are dogs with mighty appetites. They never have enough! They are shepherds who lack understanding. They all turn to their own way and each one seeks dishonest (unjust) gain.

They went astray, forsaking the right way. They followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death.

Receive the curse when you do not listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, but turn aside from the way that I command you today, by following other gods you have not known.

I know that after I die you will become thoroughly corrupt and turn from the way I have commanded you to live. In the days to come disasters will happen to you because you will make Jehovah furious by doing what he considers evil.

Yet they would not listen to their judges, but prostituted themselves to other gods. They worshiped them. They turned quickly, out of the way in which their fathers walked obeying the commandments of Jehovah.

Amon turned away from Jehovah the God of his fathers. He did not walk in his ways.

Jehovah knows (is fully aware of) the way of the righteous. But the way of the wicked will perish.

Correction is severe for the person who forsakes the way. He who hates reproof will die.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end is the way of death!

The path of the righteous is like the shining light of dawn that shines brighter and brighter until the more perfect day.

Follow all the directions Jehovah your God has given you. Then you will continue to live. Life will go well for you! You will live for a long time in the land that you are going to possess.
