Dedication » Personal of offerings » Thank
And he made an altar unto the LORD and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and charged Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
If he offer to give thanks, he shall bring unto his thank offering: sweet cakes mingled with oil and sweet wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil of fine flour fried,
When ye will offer a thank offering unto the LORD, ye shall so offer it that ye may be accepted.
And Hezekiah answered, and said, "Now that ye have filled your hands to the LORD, go to and bring in the sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD." And the congregation brought in the sacrifices and thank offerings, and all that were willing brought burnt offerings.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
Shall the voice of gladness be heard again; the voice of the Bridegroom and of the bride; the voice of them that shall sing, 'Praise the LORD of Hosts, for he is loving and his mercy endureth forever,' and the voice of them that shall offer up gifts in the house of the LORD. For I will restore the captivity of this land, as it was afore, sayeth the LORD.
God » Glorifying » Goodness of
Full gracious is the LORD, and a stronghold in time of trouble. He knoweth them that put their trust in him:
O taste and see how friendly the LORD is; blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
He loveth righteousness and judgment; the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
He said unto him, "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, and that is, God: But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."
Either despisest thou the riches of his goodness and patience, and long sufferance? And rememberest not how that the kindness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Gracious and righteous is the LORD; therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
Thou art good and friendly; O teach me thy statutes.
The memorial of thy abundant kindness shall be showed; and men shall sing of thy righteousness.
I will declare the goodness of the LORD, yea and the praise of the LORD, for all that he hath given us; for the great good that he hath done for Israel, which he hath given them of his own favour, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
Behold the kindness and rigorousness of God: on them which fell, rigorousness: but towards thee, kindness; if thou continue in his kindness. Or else thou shalt be hewn off,
