Then they will deliver you up to affliction, and kill you; and you will be hated by all nations on my account.
But beware of men: for they will deliver you to the councils, and scourge you in their synagogues;
But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues, and into prisons, after being brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.
Remember the word which I spoke to you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.
They will put you out of the synagogues; in deed, the time is coming, when he that kills you, will think that he is offering service to God.
And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.
Comfort » The comforter
and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete, that he may dwell with you forever; the Spirit of the truth, whom the world can not receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, because he dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser. Every branch in me that bears no fruit, he takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Now are you pure, through the word which I have spoken to you. read more.

But yet I tell you the truth: it is profitable for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the Paraclete will not come to you. But if I go away, I will send him to you. read more.

And after these things, the Lord appointed seventy others, also, and sent them, two and two, before his face, into every city and place to which he himself was about to go. He said, therefore, to them: The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest that he send out laborers into his harvest. Carry no purse, nor bag, nor sandals; and salute no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest on him; but, if not, it shall return upon you. Alas for thee, Chorazin! alas for thee, Bethsaida! for, if the mighty works which have been done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But for Tyre and Sidon it shall be more tolerable in the judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, who hast been exalted to heaven, shalt be brought down to hades. He that hears you, hears me; and he that rejects you, rejects me; and he that rejects me, rejects him that sent me.

Then Jesus said to them: My time has not yet come; but your time is always ready. The world can not hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that its works are evil. Do you go up to this feast. I go not up now to this feast, because my time has not yet fully come.

In like manner, also, the Spirit helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes for us, with groanings unutterable. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, that he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
But, as it is written: Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and into the heart of man have not entered the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them to us through his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
These things have I spoken to you, that you may not be ensnared. They will put you out of the synagogues; in deed, the time is coming, when he that kills you, will think that he is offering service to God. And these things they will do, because they know neither the Father nor me. read more.

The God of our fathers has raised up Jesus, whom you slew by hanging him on a tree. Then Jesus said to them: My time has not yet come; but your time is always ready. The world can not hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that its works are evil. Do you go up to this feast. I go not up now to this feast, because my time has not yet fully come.
