Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.
According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.”
So Jesus said to them, “I assure you: Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.
Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness—without it no one will see the Lord.

Therefore, when the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to stay with them, and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of what He said. And they told the woman, "We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world."
