Your people will volunteer
on Your day of battle.
In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow slave with you and your brothers who have the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The Lord made a covenant with them and commanded them, "Do not fear other gods; do not bow down to them; do not serve them; do not sacrifice to them. Instead, fear the Lord, who brought you from the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm. You are to bow down to Him, and you are to sacrifice to Him.

Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Better to draw near in obedience than to offer the sacrifice as fools do, for they ignorantly do wrong.

by the abundance of Your faithful love;
I bow down toward Your holy temple
in reverential awe of You.


God is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones,
more awe-inspiring than all who surround Him.


Lord, Your testimonies are completely reliable;
holiness is the beauty of Your house
for all the days to come.

So Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when He said:I will show My holiness
to those who are near Me,
and I will reveal My glory
before all the people.”But Aaron remained silent.
