O love the LORD, all ye his saints; for the LORD preserveth them that are faithful, and plenteously rewardeth the proud doer.
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, with all thy soul and with all thy might.
But in any wise take exceeding good heed that ye do the commandment and law which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you: which is, that ye love the LORD your God, and walk in his ways and keep his commandments, and cleave unto him, and serve him with all your hearts and all your souls."
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, "Master what shall I do, to inherit eternal life?" He said unto him, "What is written in the law? How readest thou?" Behold, I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil: in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God and to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his ordinances and his laws: that thou mayest live and multiply, and that the LORD thy God may bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
