Behold I send you forth as sheep into the midst of wolves: be ye therefore prudent as serpents, and innocent as doves. Beware of evil men; for they will deliver you up to their councils, and will scourge you in their synagogues. And ye shall be brought before governors and kings on my account, for a testimony to them and to the nations:
And beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

And he said, This I will do: I will pull down my barns, and build larger ones; and there I will bestow all my products and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast plenty of goods laid up for many years, take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night shall thy soul be required of thee; then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? So is he that heapeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich towards God.
