But Mary said unto the messenger - How, shall this thing be, seeing that, a man, I know not? And Mary said - Lo! the handmaid of the Lord! Might it come to pass unto me, according to thy declaration. And the messenger departed from her.

And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, - who is called Christ.
