And, behold, men brought in a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they sought means to bring him in and to lay him before him. And when they could not find any way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.


And many people came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many other sick and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them,

Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind, and dumb, and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan having come out of the same borders cried unto him, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me; my daughter is sick, possessed by a demon.

And they came unto him, bringing a paralytic, carried by four men.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and suffers miserably; for many times he has fallen into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. read more.
Then Jesus answered and said, O unfaithful and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me. And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour.

In the evening, when the sun was down, they brought unto him all that were diseased and those that were possessed with devils.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.


And, behold, they brought him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralyzed man, Trust, son; thy sins are forgiven thee.



But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (then said he to the paralyzed man), Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

But that ye may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins (he said unto the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy couch and go to thine house.

Therefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And those that sat at food with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgives sins also? read more.
And he said to the woman, Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace.


And he entered into a ship and passed over and came into his own city. And, behold, they brought him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralyzed man, Trust, son; thy sins are forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes. read more.
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts? For what is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (then said he to the paralyzed man), Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. Then he arose and departed to his house. And the multitude, seeing it, marvelled and glorified God, who had given such power unto men.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that he was in the house. And soon many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door; and he preached the word unto them. And they came unto him, bringing a paralytic, carried by four men. read more.
And when they could not come near unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof of the house where he was; and when they had broken it open, they let down the bed in which the paralytic lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the paralytic, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there and thinking in their hearts, Why does this fellow so blaspheme? Who can forgive sins but God only? And Jesus, knowing afterward in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why think ye these things in your hearts? What is easier to say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise and take up thy bed and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (he spoke to the sick of the palsy), I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy bed and go to thy house.
