Christ » His foreknowledge » His lordship
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Therefore let all the house of Israel know for sure that God has made that same Jesus, whom you impaled, both Lord and Christ. (Acts 10:36)
God exalted him to his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
He continued: The Son of man is lord of the Sabbath.
If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and have active faith in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
But to us there is but one God, the Father. All things come from him and we live for him. And there is one Lord Jesus Christ. All things were made through him and we were made through him.
I want you to understand that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed. And no person can say, Jesus is the Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.

He entered into the house of God, and he and his companions ate the showbread (holy bread), which it was not lawful for them to eat. It was only lawful for the priests. Have you read the law that on the Sabbath day the priests in the Temple profane the Sabbath, and are guiltless? I say to you, one greater than the Temple is here. If you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.

They questioned him: Why do your disciples go against the teaching of the fathers? They eat food with unwashed hands. You teach that a man should tell his father or mother that what he has that could help them, is given to God. You say there is no need for him to give honor to his father. You have invalidated the word of God because of your tradition!

You totally reject the commandment of God that you may keep your tradition.

They looked for a way to accuse him. He knew their thoughts. So he said to the man that had the withered hand: Stand up and come here. He arose and stepped forward. Jesus said: I ask you, is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm? Is it lawful to save a life, or to destroy it? He looked around at everyone and said to the man: Stretch out your hand. And he did so and his hand was restored. They were all very angry and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.
