Then he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed: My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.

Jesus told him: Put your sword in its place. Those who take up the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think I cannot ask my Father for help? He would send me more than twelve legions of angels.
