It was just after that that Jesus Christ for the first time clearly taught His disciples that He had to go to Jerusalem and submit to many forms of suffering at the hands of the elders, high priests, and scribes, and be killed, but be raised to life on the third day.

The disciples kept looking at one another, but were at a loss to know which one He meant. One of the disciples, whom Jesus specially loved, was sitting very close to Jesus at His right. So Simon Peter nodded to him to ask Him which one it was that He meant. He leaned back on Jesus' breast and said to Him, "Lord, who is it?" Jesus answered, "It is that one to whom I give the piece of bread when I dip it in the dish." So He dipped it into the dish and took it and gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot's son. As soon as he took the bread, Satan took possession of Judas. Then Jesus said to him, "Make quick work of what you are to do."
