Hardness (of heart) » Examples of
{They made their hearts adamant} in order not to hear the law and the words that Yahweh of hosts had sent by his spirit through the former prophets; [therefore] great wrath came from Yahweh of hosts.

How do you not understand that I did not speak to you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!" Then they understood that he did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

And he left them, got into [the boat] again, [and] went to the other side. And they had forgotten to take bread, and except [for] one loaf, they did not have [any] with them in the boat. And he ordered them, saying, "Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod!" read more.

"When also [broke] the seven [loaves] for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you pick up?" And they said to him, "Seven." And he said to them, "Do you not yet understand?"
