Then he cometh to the disciples, and saith to them, Sleep on, and take your rest! Lo! the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is delivered up into the hands of sinners.

Therefore they sought to take him; but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.

When Jesus had thus spoken, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee;

Now his parents used to go yearly to Jerusalem at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, and they went up, after the custom of the feast,

After these things there was the feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not openly, but as it were in secret.

And when evening came, he took his place at table with the twelve disciples. And as they were eating, he said, Truly do I say to you, that one of you will betray me. And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and began every one to say to him, Is it I, Lord? And he answering said, He that hath dipped his hand with me in the dish, he will betray me. The Son of man indeed goeth away, as it hath been written concerning him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Well were it for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, his betrayer, answering said, Is it I, Rabbi? He saith to him, It is. And, as they were eating, Jesus took a loaf, and having blessed, broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took a cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is shed for many for remission of sins. And I say to you, I shall not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father. And having sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, Truly do I say to you, that one of you will betray me,one that is eating with me. They began to be sorrowful, and to say to him one by one, Is it I? And he said to them, It is one of the twelve, one that is dipping with me in the dish. And when the hour had come, he placed himself at table, and the apostles with him. And he said to them, Earnestly have I desired to eat this passover with you, before I suffer. For I say to you, that I shall eat it no more, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took a cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves. For I say to you, that I shall not drink henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall have come. And he took a loaf, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me. It is enough for the disciple to be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they so call those of his household!

But be not ye called Rabbi; for one is your teacher; and ye are all brethren.

And they came and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we are perishing! And he rose, and rebuked the wind, and the surging of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.

And a certain scribe came and said to him, Teacher, I will follow thee wherever thou goest.

And on coming he immediately went up to him, and said, Rabbi! and kissed him.
