And for the rising up of the dead, read ye not that spoken by God, saying, I am God of Abraham, and God of Isaac, and God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

And concerning the dead that they are raised: have ye not read in the book of Moses, at the bramble, how God spake to him, I the God of Abraham, and God of Isaac, and God of Jacob He is not God of the dead, but God of the living; ye therefore go astray greatly.
