And they swore unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with horns. And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.
If a man vows a vow unto the LORD, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

When you vow a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools: pay that which you have vowed.

When you shall vow a vow unto the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it: for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin to you. But if you shall abstain to vow, it shall be no sin to you.
