Therefore, welcome him in the Lord with all joy and hold men like him in honor,

Now we ask you, brothers, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

If Timothy comes, see that he has nothing to fear from you, because he is doing the Lord's work, just as I am. Therefore no one should look down on him; but you should send him on his way in peace so he can come to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.

I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last you have renewed your care for me. You were, in fact, concerned about me, but lacked the opportunity [to show it]. I don't say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret [of being content]-whether well-fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. read more.

Give my greetings to Prisca and Aquila, my coworkers in Christ Jesus,

When I was present with you and in need, I did not burden anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied my needs. I have kept myself, and will keep myself, from burdening you in any way.

Greet Urbanus, our coworker in Christ, and my dear friend Stachys.

They have testified to your love in front of the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God,
