And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every fruitful tree for food, whose leaf shall not fall, neither shall its fruit be lacking; it shall bring forth mature fruit in its months, because their waters come forth out of the sanctuary; and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine.

In the midst of her plaza and on either side of the river was the tree of life, which brings forth twelve manner of fruits, yielding her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the Gentiles.


And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is desirable to the sight and good for food, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live for ever,

She is a tree of life to those that lay hold upon her, and blessed is every one that retains her.

And as I turned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.


Take fast hold of chastening; do not let go; keep this; for it is thy life.

The Spirit is he that gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken unto you, they are Spirit and they are life. But there are some of you that do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe and who should betray him.







And Moses finished speaking all these words to all Israel; and he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I protest against you today, to command them unto your children and keep and fulfil all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you because it is your life; and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, which ye shall pass the Jordan to inherit.



Brethren, if any of you have erred from the truth, and someone should convert him; let that one know, that whosoever causes the sinner to convert from the error of his way shall save a soul from death and shall cover a multitude of sins.

The soul who is a blessing unto others shall be made fat, and he that fills shall be filled also himself.

but rather God has chosen that which is the foolishness of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen that which is the weakness of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
