Anger » A characteristic of fools
A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
A stone is heavy, and sand is a burden; but a fool's provocation is heavier than both.
Don't be hasty in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools.

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, because I have kept your precepts.
