But let patience have its work perfected, that ye may be perfect and complete, deficient in nothing.
whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy; for I have espoused you to one husband, to present you a chaste virgin to Christ.
Not that I have already attained, or am now perfect: but I pursue, that I may overtake that for which also by his apprehension of me I am destined by Christ Jesus.
For we rejoice when we are weak, but ye are strong: and this also we pray for, even your perfect establishment. WHEREFORE, desisting from initiatory discourse respecting Christ, let us advance towards perfection; not again laying a foundation of repentance from dead works, and faith in God,
Be ye therefore perfect, as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
HAVING therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
that ye may prove the things that are excellent, in order that ye may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ;
that ye may be blameless and harmless, the children of God, inoffensive, in the midst of an untoward and perverse generation, among whom ye shine as luminaries in the world;
Pure religion and undefiled with God even the Father is this, To pay diligent attention to the orphans and widows in their affliction, and to preserve himself spotless from the world.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing ye are expecting these things, be diligent to be found of him in peace, spotless and blameless.
that thou observe this injunction spotless, irreproachable, unto the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
But whosoever keepeth his word, verily in him is the love of God perfected: by this we know that we are in him.
For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, he is a perfect man, and capable of reining in the whole body.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Now I conjure you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that ye be perfectly united together in the same mind and the same sentiment.
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

respecting the law, a Pharisee; with regard to zeal, persecuting the church; as touching the righteousness which is by the law, blameless.
