For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire and blesses the covetous, whom the LORD abhors.
Those that trust in their wealth and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; none of them can by any means ransom his brother, nor give God an atonement for him;
Why dost thou boast of evil, O strong man? The mercy of God is day by day.
It is bad, it is bad, the buyer says; but when he is gone his way, then he boasts.
Whosoever boasts in a gift of falsehood is like clouds and wind without rain.
