Then Jesus told his disciples, "That's why I'm telling you to stop worrying about your life what you will eat or about your body what you will wear,

Whenever you sit down to dine with a ruler, carefully think about what is before you. Put a knife to your own throat, if you have a big appetite.


Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without raising any question about it on the grounds of conscience,

Don't let my heart turn toward evil or involve itself in wicked activities with men who practice iniquity. Let me not feast on their delicacies.
