But whosoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul. A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. For jealousy causes the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

There are three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not: The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maiden. This is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.
