Fear » The fear of the lord
The fear of LORD is clean, enduring forever. The ordinances of LORD are true, [and] righteous altogether.
Better is little with the fear of LORD, than great treasure and trouble with it.
The fear of LORD is the beginning of knowledge. The foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of LORD is to hate evil. Pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.

Save me, for I have sought thy precepts. The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider thy testimonies. I have seen an end of all perfection. Thy commandment is exceedingly broad. O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged because I have kept thy precepts.
