Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto your name give glory, for your mercy, and for your truth's sake.
And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures forever.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.
He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death.
The fear of the LORD leads to life: and he that has it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
Let not your heart envy sinners: but be in the fear of the LORD all the day long. For surely there is a future hope; and your expectation shall not be cut off.
