Afflictions of the The Wicked » Are multiplied
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
Though wickedness may be sweet in his mouth, though he may hide it under his tongue; Though he may spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth: Yet his food in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him. read more.
He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly. He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him. He shall not see the river, the floods, the brooks of honey and buttermilk. That which he labored for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice in it.

Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
