Also in front of the throne there was something like a sea of glass as clear as crystal. Around the throne, at the middle of each side were four living creatures dotted with eyes in front and behind, The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man's, and the fourth was like an eagle flying. Then I saw, midway between the throne and the four living creatures, standing among the elders, a Lamb that looked as though He had been slaughtered. He had seven horns and seven eyes; the latter are the seven spirits of God which are sent on duty to every portion of the earth. He came and took the book from the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne. When He took it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each with a harp, and golden bowls that were full of incense, which represent the prayers of God's people. read more.
Then they sang a new song: "You deserve to take the book and break its seals, because you have been slaughtered, and with your blood have bought men from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation, and have made them a kingdom of priests for our God; and they will rule over the earth." Then I looked and heard the voices of many angels surrounding the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. Their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying in a loud voice: "The Lamb that was slaughtered deserves to receive power, riches, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing." Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, underneath the earth, and on the sea, and all that they contain, say: "Blessing, honor, glory, and power be to Him who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb forever." Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the elders fell down and worshiped.

And when the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals, I looked and heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!" Then I looked, and a white horse appeared, and his rider was carrying a bow. A crown was given to him, and he rode forth conquering and to conquer. When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" read more.
And another horse came forth, as red as fire, and power was given to its rider to take peace away from the earth, and to make men slaughter one another; a great sword was given to him. When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature, say, "Come!" I looked, and a black horse appeared, and its rider was carrying a pair of scales in his hands, and I heard what seemed to be a voice from the midst of the four living creatures say: "Wheat, fifty cents a quart, barley, fifty cents for three quarts! But you must not injure the oil and wine." When He broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!"

After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of testimony was thrown open in heaven, and the seven angels bringing the seven plagues came out of the sanctuary. They were clothed in clean, brilliant linen and had belts of gold around their breasts. Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven bowls of gold, full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, read more.
(15:7) and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory and power of God, and no one could go into the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were at an end.

Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary say to the seven angels: "Go and empty the seven bowls of God's wrath upon the earth." So the first angel went and emptied his bowl upon the earth, and horrible, painful sores broke out on the men who bore the mark of the wild beast and worshiped his statue. Then the second angel emptied his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like a dead man's, and every living thing that was in the sea died. read more.
Then the third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood. Then I heard the angel of the waters say: "You are just in passing such a sentence, you who are and were, you the Holy One. Because they have shed the blood of your people and prophets, you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it." And I heard the altar say, "Yes, Lord God Almighty! Your sentences are true and just." Then the fourth angel emptied his bowl upon the sun, and permission was given it to scorch mankind with its fiery heat, so that men were severely scorched, but they only cursed the name of God who had authority over these plagues, and would not repent and give Him glory. Then I saw three foul spirits leap like frogs from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the wild beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet. They are the spirits of demons that perform wonders, and they go forth to the kings of the whole world, to muster them for battle on the great day of the Almighty God. (See! I am coming like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes ready, so that he may not go naked and people see his shame.) So they mustered the kings at the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Then the seventh angel emptied his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, "It is done."

Then I saw another symbol in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels bringing seven plagues which are to be the last, because with them God's wrath is completely expressed. Then I saw something that looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and standing upon the sea of glass were those who had conquered the wild beast, his statue, and the number representing his name; and they had harps that God had given them. And they were singing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God, Almighty One; upright and true your ways, O King of the ages. read more.

Then the seventh angel emptied his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, "It is done." Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder; then there was a great earthquake, an earthquake so great that none like it had ever been since man first existed on the earth. The great city was broken into three parts; the cities of the heathen fell, and God remembered to give mighty Babylon the cup of the wine of His raging wrath, Every island vanished; not a mountain could be seen; huge hailstones as heavy as talents fell on men from heaven, and men cursed God for the plague of hail, because the torture of it was severe.
